Hanover Brazos is the twin building to Hanover Republic Square. Hanover buildings are some of the highest luxury buildings in Austin. Hanover Brazos is extremely nice with rooftop amenities, rooftop pool, theatre room and co-working space. Aesthetically Hanover Brazos (and Hanover Republic Square) have the feeling of a high end corporate hotel. On one hand this is great, since it's super classy and luxurious. The interior finishing are high end, modern, and very well done. Some of the best in town. However the same luxury aesthetic, in my opinion also lacks any sense of Austin. Both Hanover buildings could be anywhere in the country and you wouldn't know where you were. East facing units at Hanover Brazos, for the next few years, will have direct exposure to the convention center construction site which is not ideal. Other lower floor units face nearby buildings, or are tucked into corners with poor views. Higher up units, especially those facing South and West are preferable. Overall Brazos' main weakness is it's location. This part of Downtown is more corporate and hotel oriented, with little catering to the residential experience. Other areas of Downtown like Rainey, and West Downtown have much more to offer for the residential experience.
